Adding a blog

To add this feature to your website, you will use a blog located in one of your DB Primary communities.

It may be an idea to create a new community for this purpose.

Navigate to your DB Primary homepage, click on the administration toolbox and select the 'Communities' tab.

Before clicking on create, choose 'Public Site' from the dropdown menu.

Now navigate to the homepage of the newly created community and copy the url from the address bar. The url will look something like this:

If you'd prefer to use an existing community, visit the manage membership area and click on the 'Access' tab to confirm the status as 'Public'.

As mentioned above, navigate to the homepage of the community and copy the url from the address bar.

Now revisit your website editor in the design page view:

Type in the address and check the blog button.

You can also set the number of blog entries that will appear on the web page.

Now click on OK to confirm your entry:

The blog will now be pulled through from the community to the webpage.

Adding a calendar

The process for adding a calendar is the same as for adding a blog.

Follow the steps as above and paste the community url into the add calendar/blog dialogue box.

Select the radio button next to calendar and click on 'OK' to confirm. Your calendar will now appear on the webpage.
