Answering a survey

To answer a survey, you must be an existing member of the community which contains the survey.

1. Login as pupil and go to the community homepage containing the survey 2. Click on Surveys to see a list of surveys available

3. From the list of surveys, click on the survey you would like to answer.

4. You will be shown any introduction text if the creator wrote any and also a Start Survey button at the top. Click this to start taking the survey.

Answering each question type

You are now able to start answering each question. Below are examples of how each question type will display and how the answers are input.

After each answer is input, the Answer button needs to be pressed to take you onto the next question.

Choose one answer

This question allows only one answer to be chosen by clicking a radio button. If you change your mins and choose another, the previous selection will de-select.

Choose many answers

This question will allow you to select more than one answer from a list

Write a short answer

This question will allow a short 1 line answer

Write a long answer

This question will allow a short paragraph for an answer

Write a number

This question will allow a number to be entered as the answer

Answer using currency

This question will allow you to answer in currency

Answer with a time

This question will allow you to choose a time from drop down numerical menus

Answer with a date

This question will allow you to click on a date on a calendar to answer
