Widgit

The Widgit software comes in 2 parts: Insite and Widgit Point.

Insite is an editer plug in which will add wigit symbols above the words as you type them and insert them into a page on DB Primary. It allows you to create and display symbol-supported content on your DB Primary pages quickly and easily. It is easy to use and suitable for all ages and abilities. It uses Widgit’s intelligent symbolisation technology to understand verbs, adjectives and nouns. As the user types, the symbol for each word appears above the typed text. When there is more than one symbol for a word, Insite allows the user to choose the most appropriate. Students can use Insite to create their own content within DB Primary.
