Email monitor is a tool used to search all pupil emails at the same time to find specific emails. The results can then be forwarded, deleted, or archived to your computer.

Finding Emails

  • Log in to your DB Primary portal with a teacher or an admin login.
  • Go to Administration.
  • Click on the Email tab on the top of the administration screen.

  • You will now be taken to the search screen as shown below.

  • You have the choice to search for emails by Subject, Sender, and Recipient, as well as between a date range.

The default date range is one week.

  • You can also search for emails sent by members of a particular community, emails in a particular pupils email folders and select the folder to search within.
  • Enter any combination of the above and then click on Search.


  • The next screen will show the results of your search:

  • Click on any of the individual emails to open and view them. Here you can delete, print or download the message you are viewing.
  • You have the option of carrying out a number of actions to the emails by using the the dropdown menu on the right:

  • Select individual or multiple emails you want the action to apply to by putting a tick in the checkbox:
