How to publish content

A pupil can choose to share content from my work by publishing it to their homepage or to a community gallery. The pupil must be a member of the community in question and all content will need to be aproved by a member of staff before it becomes live. Sharing to their own homepage does not require moderation.

Publish to homepage

1. The pupil needs to be logged in and go to "My Work" 2. Click on the item to send to homepage. 3. From the options box, click on Publish To and then select "My Homepage"

4. The content will now appear at the bottom middle section of the users homepage.

Publish to community Gallery

1. The pupil needs to be logged in and go to "My Work" 2. Click on the item to send to the community gallery. 3. From the options box, click on Publish To and then select Community to publish to.

The file will now be awaiting moderation from a member of staff.

Approve/Reject object awaiting moderation

When a community member publishes a file to a community, the teacher or community leader will receive a notification of this on their homepage:

Click on the object to accept or reject it. Once approved, users are able to write a comment on the object, rate it or add multiple tags to it.

A teacher may also approve from within the community gallery itself. Any objects pending moderation will have an hourglass on them. Click on the object to accept or reject it.

Note: To moderate files in bulk, please see here.
